Info about the Planzone Update, March 14, 2009

This
update is focused on 4 main areas: planning dependencies, wiki
enhancements, referral program and Planzone Community Alpha version.

Wiki:
- sharing of wiki pages via e-mail (secured link, import contact list from address book)
- duplication of a wiki page
- templates of wiki pages used for page creation
- special style for links to missing pages
- cleaner print layout

Planning:

- “cascade” mode: automatic creation and management of dependencies between sub-activities
- action to reorder sub-activities by start date
- enhanced interaction to input dates, allocated hours and % complete.

Planzone Community Alpha version:
- public Planzone Directory, with one Profile page per Planzone
- publication of wiki pages on the internet
- public site of a Planzone (composed of published wiki pages that can have links between them and include images)

Referral program :
- Creation of the referral program
- Creation of the referral page

Miscellaneous enhancements:
-
simplification of Planzone roles (removal of “Manager” role) and
project permissions (removal of permission “View, edit and schedule”)
- ability to add a comment while creating a to-do
- new project tab “Reports” (charts and publications)
- specific tab “My to-dos” in home section, for a quicker access
- cleaner layout for login page and other special pages
