Project management news from Planzone

Last Friday we updated our service to enhance the timesheet, project reports and to introduce the new Development center. Additionally we integrated a Templates section in the Planzone Community and inaugurated a new Spanish interface!

Here is the full list of the Update:

> New supported language: SPANISH

> Reports

* Enhanced layout for all Excel exports ("Export" link at top right of most pages)
* New administrator reports in Home "Reports" tab (resource usage in last/next 6 weeks, resource calendar in next 3/6 weeks)
* New "Reports" sub-tab in Project "Reports" tab (previous charts have been moved to a "Statistics" sub-tab), with Excel reports "Project Summary" (a single sheet showing project info and status) and "Project Details" (identical to Excel export form Project "Overview" tab)

> Timesheet

* Ability to record time spent for material resources (non-Planzone members)
* Ability for the Administrator to view any resource's timesheet

> Templates in Planzone Community

* New "Templates" section in the Planzone Community, with a home page (http://www.planzone.com/template) showing the last published and the most used templates
* Specific page with enhanced layout for a public Template description
* Button "Use this template" to create a project from a public Template in a few clicks (including creation of a Planzone for the new project if needed)

> Planzone Dev Center (BETA)

* This is the area (http://dev.planzone.com) where developers can find tools to develop and register applications using the Planzone API.
* Currently one such application has been developed: this is the Firefox plug-in "ProjectBar" (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/12555).
* This area will be enriched with new APIs, samples and documentation in the next months.

> Miscellaneous

* New "Activities" tab in Project, dedicated to organisation of activities
* In "Resource Usage" view, activities not in the period have been removed for better legibility
* Display of Planzone information/news in a pop-up after login (can be de-activated)
* Automatic reset of e-mail addresses detected as invalid: When at least 3 e-mails have been sent without receiving a delivery error e-mail after 6 days, the e-mail address delivery status is reset to "Valid"
